Hi Steve,

First and foremost kudos to you for being proactive. Recently I read an article about the behaviors of companies during a recession in regards to marketing. It stated that companies who conserve their money and reduce marketing during a recession were perceived as weak and not dependable then went on to lose to their competition when the market returned to normal. An example of this: Avon vs. Revlon. Coke vs. Pepsi.

All of this to say, there is a lot that you can be doing to boost your inventory/sales right now. It may not happen as quickly and in as much volume as it did even 1 year ago, but that's what separates the survivors from the thousands of agents who will not be actively selling real estate within the next few years.

If you can attend one of the NFSTI A2Z2 courses - Las Vegas, LA, Miami, Cleveland, etc. - then do it. You will learn SO much for the money. Not to mention the networking that you will achieve. I've seen people network and start sharing accounts, clients, etc. and before you know it, they've both doubled their business.

If the times are tight and you can't attend the course, then at least get on the NFSTI website, Twitter, and ActiveRain. The fact that you're already blogging tells me that you are up to date on the "Web 2.0" tools that are out there. That's great!

I wish you the best of success!

I have been using quite a few different providers. I have been using reo trans, reo prep, and reo world. Reo worls has offered me one listing, reo prep has offered me 4 listings and 1 BPO, and reo trans has offered me 7 BPO's but no listings. What do you suggest I do to build more listings?

For bank properties, do agents compete on commissions or do they all get paid the same fees?

Seems like the service is the same (discounted), I have never seem a listing agent on any of the bank properties that I have sold.
